Currently, we are looking for help in the Tree Care Division. Your responsibilities will include:
Supervises a tree crew, including setting up and maintaining a safe and secure job site, as well as maintaining equipment and performing preventative maintenance
Performs tree services such as tree removal, tree pruning and tree trimming, cleans up debris
Pruning according to ANSI A3000 standards
Tree climbing and bucket work
Correctly and safely lowers branches down by using a series of ropes and knots
Qualifications:
Experience in safe usage of tree care equipment (chainsaw, chipper, bucket truck, hand saw, front end loader, pole saw etc.)
Must have field experience in safe pruning and removal of trees
Must have experience in safely climbing, rigging and working from bucket trucks
Able to correctly set up work zone according to state and federal regulations (including PPE)
Ability to work independently and in a group
Knowledge of local tree species and growing habits (preferred)
Must be able to repeatedly lift 25lbs and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs, and be able to work in an outdoor environment for extended periods of time in all weather conditions

As our Tree Care Department Supervisor, you will be responsible for learning and assisting with the management of the tree care daily operations, team, clients, and equipment. You will collaborate with homeowners, contractors, designers, landscape architects and industry professionals on projects ranging from routine plant pruning to large tree removals. You will work directly with and report to the Tree Care Manager.
Department Services: Tree consulting & care plans, plant inventorying, cabling & bracing, emergency tree services, hazard assessments, insect and disease diagnosis, lightning protection, plant analysis & diagnostics, pruning, and tree & shrub removals.
Regular Responsibilities:
Manage the tree care staff including hiring, training, scheduling, and general supervising
Ensure the safety of the staff (OSHA standards)
Organize training for staff as needed
Track work tickets, project costs, and review final invoices
Work closely with customers including in-person, phone, and email communications
Create care plans, estimates, and sell tree services
Stay up to date with industry trends and innovations, including plant knowledge
Qualifications:
Preferred degree in forestry, horticulture, business or related. Work experience will be considered
ISA Certified arborist or ability to become certified within 6 months of hire
Must have field experience in safe pruning techniques and removal of trees, minimum
Must have ability to train and supervise the safe climbing, rigging and bucket work

We are currently looking for an Irrigation Technician to design, install and maintain residential and commercial irrigation systems. Your responsibilities will include:
Operate power equipment and hand tools to install, maintain and repair irrigation systems and related components including irrigation lines, sprinkler heads, control panels, valves, pumps, etc.
Check system(s) for proper operation and timing
Be able to identify areas of concern in current systems and recommend corrective steps

As a Construction Project Manager you will work closely with the Construction Department Manager to plan, coordinate, budget, and supervise masonry construction projects from start to finish. You will collaborate with industry leaders in architecture and design, high-net-worth homeowners, high-end contractors, industry professionals, and skilled craftsmen to successfully execute projects.
Whitmores Masonry specializes in complex residential masonry using innovative techniques, materials, and historical and landmark stone restoration.
Responsibilities:
Prepare estimates and contracts under the direction of the Department Manager, including determining labor requirements, sourcing materials, engaging subcontractors, and other research or information gathering
Assist with value engineering by giving recommendations to reduce cost, improve materials or technique, and increase the functionality or lifespan of an installation
Attend design and project meetings during all construction phases
Interpret and explain plans to internal support staff, subcontractors, and clients
Assign and coordinate subcontractors. Includes solicitation, negotiation, selection and contracting of subcontractors
Schedule the project in logical steps and ensure it meets deadlines. Some coordination with other contractors on job site may be necessary
Perform regular site visits for current projects (work vehicle provided) to collect information, confere with on-site staff, perform material inventories, or help answer questions for team in the field or clients
Assist with the management of project budgets including knowing where each assigned project is on a daily or weekly basis, dependent on the project’s schedule and priority
Communicate with Department Manager if project is deviating from budgets of time, schedule, cost or any other factor so that appropriate adjustments can be made to maximize end result
Continuously evaluate project materials, products, construction methods, and workmanship
Assist with preparing any contract amendments including change orders, with the preparation of project reports detailing project status or relevant information, and with the preparation of progress payment invoices or final invoices. All estimates, contracts, reports, and invoices must be reviewed and approved by the Construction Manager prior to submission to the office or client.
Some job ticket creation and review may be required for in-house masonry staff
Ensure the safety of the staff (OSHA standards)
Work closely with customers including in-person, phone, and email communications
