At Whitmores Tree Farm, customers can choose from the widest selection of beautiful shade and ornamental trees in the Hamptons. The farm, established in 1986, has grown to over one hundred acres. It offers rare and unusual plant selections from foreign and exotic regions, as well as native trees and shrubs.

On a visit to the farm, you may see huge magnolias in bloom, giant bald cypresses and swamp maples big enough for a tree house. There are Montauk shad, large caliper shade trees, row upon row of cryptomeria, arborvitae and spruce to provide screening, and a wide choice of beeches and willows. You will find flowering crab apples and cherries and rarely seen stewartia and franklinia, as well as towering evergreens and exotic dwarfs.

Whitmores professionals travel across the country to select the best plant materials available. Before trees are purchased, they bare individually inspected, and only the best are chosen for the farm. Here, they are nurtured, pruned and cared for to ensure that they flourish.
